TakeHelp is an online counselling platform where the counsellor and the user are connected by high-grade telephonic system. TakeHelp endeavours to connect anyone who needs a helping hand to tackle any life-issue, from a psychological perspective, with qualified professional counsellors. There are several categories under which you can find specialised therapists/Counsellors. You can choose the counsellor of your choice and book a telephonic session with him/her through TakeHelp. The call shall be completely confidential & anonymous.
We allow the counsellor a minimum of 3 hours to be prepared for a call. So, the earliest you could book a call is after 3 hours. For example, if you are booking a call at 2.30pm, the earliest you could schedule the call is for 5.30pm (subject to calendar availability of the counsellor)
If the call drops due to network issues, the TakeHelp Telecom system will automatically call both parties back. Once you pick up:
Press 1 to continue the call.
Press 2 if you wish to end the call prematurely before the 1 hour is up.
TakeHelp connects you with qualified counsellors for psychological issues across categories like Youth & Students, Relationships, Parenting, Workplace issues, Palliative care, Trauma counselling, and more.
TakeHelp is NOT suitable for emergency crisis situations. This platform is not for you if:
You are suicidal
You have self-harming thoughts
You feel like inflicting physical harm on others
You are going through an emergency crisis that cannot wait for telephonic sessions
Once you pay and book an appointment, you'll receive an email and SMS confirmation. On the appointment day/time, TakeHelp will place an incoming call to your phone that connects you directly to your counsellor.

It depends on the issue and its complexity. A straightforward topic like Pre-marital Counselling might only take 1 session, while deeper issues require more. Your counsellor will recommend a course of action after your first session.
